If DVRXaminer is not the fit you hoped for, we will refund it. The DVRXaminer licence comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee, with no forms to fill in and no questions asked. This policy explains how it works.
01 Our refund promise
If the DVRXaminer licence does not work out, ask for a refund within 30 days of your purchase and we will refund the full price. No forms. No hoops.
We want you to buy with confidence. This policy applies to licences you buy directly from dvrxaminer.com. If you bought through a reseller, the refund terms of that reseller apply.
02 What is covered
The 30-day money-back guarantee covers the DVRXaminer licence you buy from us. The 30 days run from the date of your purchase.
You do not need a reason. If the software is not what you expected, could not recover the footage you needed or simply is not for you, that is enough.
03 How to request a refund
Getting a refund takes one email.
- Email support@recoverytools.com from the address you used to buy.
- Tell us your order number if you have it. It helps but is not required.
- We confirm and start the refund.
That is the whole process. You do not need to uninstall the software first or explain yourself.
04 How and when we refund you
We send refunds to the original payment method you used. If you paid by card, the money goes back to that card.
We process refunds within two business days of approving your request. After that, the money appears within five to ten days, depending on your bank or card provider.
05 Free trial
DVRXaminer has a free trial that scans your drive and previews the recoverable footage. It costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund. This is the best way to confirm the software works on your case before you pay.

06 Upgrades and renewals
The DVRXaminer licence is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. When a new major version is a paid upgrade, the same 30-day guarantee applies to the upgrade.
If we ever offer an optional subscription, we will explain the cancellation and refund terms clearly before you sign up.
07 Chargebacks
If something goes wrong with a purchase, please email us before you contact your bank. A chargeback takes weeks and locks the order while it is disputed. A refund from us is faster, and we can almost always sort the problem out in a fraction of the time.
08 When we may decline
The guarantee is meant to be generous, and we honour it in good faith. We may decline a refund in the rare cases where it is clearly being abused, for example repeated buy-and-refund cycles on the same licence or a request made long after the 30-day window.
